Broadband Telecommunications Courses

In a recent hearing on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Mark Seifert, Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), defined Broadband as follows:

“…the actual hardware, cabling, software, equipment, and systems used for transmitting information from one location to another. This is delivered to and through the Internet, video, television, phones, and ALL media via fiber optic cables or wireless means.  Expanding the “broadband” increases the ability to transmit data, public, government or military information at the highest speed, volumes and peak efficiency levels and in the highest secured manner possible”.

This is why President Obama is investing over $8 billion to create jobs and improve our Internet infrastructure as part of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act.

Our Broadband curriculum offers the exact training individuals need to meet the requirements of Broadband centered jobs.  Our courses in Electronics, Fiber Optics, Networking, Wireless LAN, Broadband Voice over IP, Data Cabling, and others provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to design, install, and maintain the very hardware, software and systems that the NTIA defines as the Broadband Internet Infrastructure.

Many of our Broadband Telecommunications classes feature In Class certification exams provided by the Electronic Technicians Association.
